"Pretty solid pair of socks, the heavyweight build plus full cushion is nice for at home wearing and the occasional walk around the neighborhood. However given the heavyweight build, it's not quite as nice for the workday for me. Would like to see some midweight full-cushion quarter and shorty socks from Darn Tough in a variety of colors. "LOVE these. Have both the no show and now these shortys. Winters (indoors) are so nice. The cushion is fantastic and the warmth is sublime. If you’ve ever used the full length Mountaineering socks but don’t love wearing them indoors, this is absolutely your sock. Chilling at home these are fantastic. Probably prefer the no show height over this. Glad to have tried both."

Shockingly low durability

"While they have a pleasant appearance, feel, and cushion, I was a little surprised to see its durability is somewhat low. I've worn this pair for three days, and I'm shocked to see that there's already a weak spot forming at the tip where my big toe rubs. There isn't a hole yet, but I can tell if I were to wear these backpacking or camping for a weekend, they wouldn't survive. It is also worth mentioning this pair isn't too breathable (my feet leaving clear sweat marks when I step on my floor after work). Not very moisture wicking. Is it more comfy than your average Hanes and such, yes, but it's not on the same level as past pairs of Darn Toughs I purchased. I will be emailing customer service about these."
