Feet wearing work socks, the best socks for work boots because they thermoregulate

Thermoregulation for Any Climate, Any Job

The wrong combination of work sock and work boot does not go unnoticed. We produce socks with a high-density knit that make them virtually indestructible, knit with three simple ingredients of Merino Wool, Nylon, and Lycra®, making them the most versatile socks for all environments. Wool has a natural crimp that creates pockets of insulation, while also venting the moisture it absorbs to leave you feeling dry. You stay warm while avoiding sweaty feet and remain cool through natural venting. Wool is amazing.

Great socks for work

"These socks have been amazing for work. I do on average 25k steps a day and my feet feel amazing. Both walking out doors to indoor 130temp steam rooms. Well worth the investment"

Great socks for tough users

"These are great socks! My son is tough on socks but these ones stand up to the rugged wear. They fit well. He does not complain of sweat in them either. We love the lifetime guarantee. ❤️"

1466 but all brown

"Normally wear a 1466, but wanted a sock in Brown for my dress boots. Very similar to the 1466 in comfort and feel. Which are excellent. I only wear DT socks these days."

Michael W. (5/5)

Great socks

"Great three season sock for 6/8 inch hi work boots! They were comfortable, did not sag. Normal color! I think too thick for summer but that’s just me. I do not wear insulated boots in sub zero weather. ( as long as I have wool socks!)."

Fred Tuttle micro crew

"I have been wearing darn tough socks for years for work, hiking, and back country hunts my recent purchase of the Fred Tuttle socks are far from any disappointment. I rely on darn tough every day from work to spending weeks at a time in the mountains hunting. Thank you for making an outstanding product."

I bought two of these

Q&A

How are these different/similar to the midweight hikers (style 1466)? Thanks
The Men's Fred Tuttle will fit similarly to the 1466, but the Fred Tuttle does have more ribbing in the leg of the socks which will offer some more stretch!
Which pair is good for hot and humid climates?
I would recommend the Light Hiker Micro Crew Lightweight Hiking Sock here- https://darntough.mom/collections/mens-hiking-socks/products/mens-merino-wool-light-hiker-micro-crew-lightweight-hiking-socks. These socks are tall enough to clear a standard hiking boot at about 8.5 inches above the heel. They are lightweight enough to be breathable in the warmer weather, but they also have a thin layer of cushioning along the bottom of the foot and around the toes and heels that adds comfort and durability but not bulk.
