"I heard about darn tough socks from a friend and was super excited to try them out. I am somewhat of a sock snob after trying stance socks, which I love. It sounded to me like stance may have met their match though with darn tough, since they're guaranteed for life. Anyway, I bought this pair of socks and a pair of duck duck moose from Go Bros website and was super excited for them. Unfortunately I wore this pair one time and then washed them. When they came out of the dryer, they had those little tiny balls all over them, like cheap material does when you wash it too much. I am disappointed for sure. This was supposed to be the top of the line and instead I don't even wear that pair anymore because I dont want them to ball up even more when I wash them again."

"I wear these socks while working on hiking trails in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. A lot of the trails rely on beaver dams to cross wet spots. We also rely on crosscut saws to clear the trails. Having two beavers with a crosscut saw makes me want to get out and work on our trail."
