Excellent initial quality and comfort

"These are the first Darn Tough socks I have ever purchased. I specifically wanted something made here in the United States. Yes the price was high, but, I knew it would be. I have just received the socks so I haven't much data to go on, but, so far I am very impressed. They fit well, appear to be well made (time will tell), and are comfortable. I am a paraplegic so they won't be getting the use or abuse as a "normal" person, but I was a design engineer, so I know a few things about materials and quality. So far, these get 5 stars."
