  • Runners enjoy Merino Wool's ability to dry quickly and move excess heat and moisture away from feet.

Perfect cushioning for running, especially

"Perfect cushioning for running, especially at the heels (where I personally have hot spots). I love having colored socks but it’s nice to have neutral colors as well. I use them for hiking as well since the cushioning is thick enough."

While these look great, fit

"While these look great, fit wise, I do prefer the lightweight hiker micro crew. These are a great neutral color and love the retro look with the strips. I wear women's size 9 and the medium fits great."

Emily A. (5/5)

Too long

"I love darn tough socks. I love the quality of the socks. This sock runs long and is wider in the toe area than other women’s size M that I have. I will be wearing this pair of socks with hiking boots vs running shoes due to the looseness in the toe box and also it being too long In length. After washing them the material is fuzzy/static in the bottom material……not my favorite pair."

Virginia W. (4/5)

So comfy!

"Love the cushion in the foot paired with the lighter weight material in the ankle. Need more pairs!"

Annie C. (5/5)

Can’t believe it took me this long

"Literally the best thing I’ve ever put my foot in best quality socks ever. From the classic look to the pop of color functionality never looked this good. I will definitely be buying more, one day my whole sock drawer will be full of darn toughs. My wallet might be empty though."

Jake H. (5/5)

Please make more!!!

"Literally the best running sock I’ve ever used. My mauve ones have come on trail runs around the world with me. Work with every running shoe I have. Don’t shrink in the wash like all the others on the market. Please make more colors!!!!!"

Lizi (5/5)

Awesome combo!

"I bought these for my daughter. The current fashion trend is back to the tennis socks of the 80's. However, they really don't last and get dirty fast. With the Element Micro, my daughter gets the trendy look she likes with the DTV quality. What's not to love?! I wish DTV had a larger selection of these. . ."

Received as a gift, and

"Received as a gift, and I really like them. My husband has taken advantage of the lifetime guarantee on several pairs over the years. What a great deal!"

Chester N. (5/5)

You can't go wrong with

"You can't go wrong with this retro looking sock. The white and green are classic colors from my youth. I have been slowly replacing all of my old socks with Darn Tough because the quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend."

Tina P. (5/5)

Perfect for whatever

"The most comfortable athletic socks I've ever worn. If Darn Tough made these in a less sporty aesthetic, I would wear nothing else. So cushiony, so cozy, fits true to size. Perfect for lounging or whatever else you want to do."
