"These socks are not only really well made, they are pretty too. The foot bed stays put, the heel doesn’t bunch up…I have large calves, so they are very snug. "Okay, I have many Darn Tough Socks. This most recent pair of Women's Alpine Over-the-Calf Lightweight Ski & Snowboard Socks in CRANBERRY are fun and super comfy. Thanks Maggie! I’m vertically challenged so if I pulled these socks up high they’d probably be over my knees! When I’m on my feet all day these socks feel like compression stockings, massaging my calves and feet but they’re much easier to put on. My legs and feet don’t ache at the end of a busy day; they feel great! The merino wool keeps me warm and comfy but not sweaty or hot, and not ever itchy. They are the perfect weight, not too lightweight. The pattern and color are super cute. They wash up and dry great. I don’t usually wash any of my Darn Tough Merino Wool Socks until after the 3rd wearing and they don’t have a bad odor after 3 wearings. I do alternate my socks between wearings. Darn Tough customer service is outstanding! Thanks! Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all at Darn Tough for providing us with amazingly comfortable and long lasting, quality socks!
