Awesome socks - but tend to stretch on multi-day backpacking

"I love Darn Tough socks and have several pair. However, I am in between small and medium - leaning toward medium, even though my shoe size (8ish) puts me square in the medium size. This is not normally an issue, unless I'm doing a long enough backpacking trip where I switch between 2 pairs - they get stretched out, and then add bulk at the heel without some fidgeting. Ultimately - I love everything else about them!"

"I wear a woman’s size 11. 5 narrow. The Darn Tough women’s size L midweight hiking socks fit GREAT! The quarter socks sit perfectly over my ankle. The socks do not shift, stay in place, provide a little extra cushion so no heal rub from my hiking shoes! I wear them year round. I don’t find them hot or cold, they are perfect.
