Lovely Lavender!

"The color of these Lavender Ultra-Lightweight Ski Socks is absolutely irresistible. It's just as vivid and pleasant in person as it is on the screen. So even though I'm a sucker for a cushion, I couldn't help myself. As soon as I saw these, I wanted them desperately! I'll admit I do wish they came in a cushioned version, but even still: I love them. The color again is just so striking, and while I usually love a design on my socks, having these as a flat-color makes them more elegant—and with such an exquisite color, you don't need to gild the lily. And of course, even without a cushion they're still more comfortable than a "normal" sock (no bunching, so slipping, no icky sweaty sliding!). It's been great having a lighter-weight knee-sock available in my sock-drawer this winter, for days when the weather isn't quite so biting but I still want an extra layer of snug all the way up my shin. I expect they'll get a lot of use this spring too, during those early brisk days and later rainy ones, when a light kneesock with merino wool will leave me snug and comfortable while everyone else is shivering at every gust or moaning about the damp! Now I just need Darn Tough to use my favorite new color in more sock designs. . . hint, hint!"
