Less wool = less warm

"I’m very disappointed with these socks. My husband bought me some Darn Tough Over-the-Calf socks 6 or 7 years ago and they are my absolute favorite socks, but darn Tough has changed them in the intervening years. The fabric content is noticeably different with less wool (increased nylon, I think). This makes them stretchier and smoother to the touch, but it also makes them much less warm. Since the purpose of these socks is to keep my feet and legs warm, that’s a big negative. I will not purchase from Darn Tough in the future."
